What headset and games should I get if I want a Meta Quest 3?
Well, right now the Meta Quest 3 is the new big deal. It is $499.99 for a 128GB model and $649.99 for the 512GB one. If people buy one of those by February 27, 2024, you get Asgard’s Wrath 2 for free.
There’s also the Meta Quest 2, which involves an offer. It is temporarily $249.99 instead of $299.99, and when you get it you get $50 Meta Quest Store credit to spend on games.
The perks are you don’t need a PC for either of these headsets. However, if you do have one, you can use them with them.
As for some of the best Meta Quest 2 and 3 games you could get, here’s a list of some titles that are worth your time on the headset. Keep in mind that, due to VR games being somewhat ubiquitous, you might also see some of these on other headsets!

What headset and games I get if I want a PSVR?
Well, the best bundle is the normally $599.99 Horizon: Call of the Mountain PSVR 2 bundle. That gives you the headset, controllers, and a copy of what’s probably the system’s best game and experience.
Note that you need a PS5 if you want this headset.

What headset and games should I get if I want a Valve Index?
I saved this one for last both because I’m going in alphabetical order and it’s the most expensive. It costs $999 for a Valve Index with controllers and Half-Life: Alyx.
Also, note you’ll need a PC for it.
As for the best games for the Valve Index, well, that’s difficult to say! Steam is filled with tons of VR games and is probably the easiest storefront to navigate when looking for VR experiences of any kind. Not to mention many of the games I already recommended for the PSVR 2 and Quest 2 and 3 are already on Steam as well. But here are a few recent releases to keep in mind in addition to the games mentioned above.
