Square Enix graced Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis with another Final Fantasy IX crossover banner. This time, Sephiroth has gotten his own crossover banner that will see him sport Kuja inspired Attire. But is the FFVII Ever Crisis FFIX crossover Sephiroth banner worth pulling on?

Should I draw on the FFVII Ever Crisis FFIX crossover Sephiroth banner?

The answer to this isn’t as clear cut. You can feel free to draw on the banner if you want, especially because Sephiroth is an “all-rounder” kind of character. This means that he’s great for Physical and Magic attacks, with a lot of his Weapons actually doing Magic Damage. Given that Kuja’s Attire boosts his Magic Ability Potential in general, and not with a specific element, this banner is great for those that want to make Sephiroth their mage.

Kuja’s Spirit Blade is also an incredible Weapon if you intend on making him your go-to magic user. Kuja’s Spirit Blade does Non-Elemental Magic Damage to all enemies on the field, while reducing their Physical and Magic Attack if Sephiroth is above 50% health, which makes this great for general use and farming. That said, if you’re determined for Sephiroth to remain a Physical attacker, then you may want to skip out on this banner since these draws are focused entirely around Magic damage. Which makes sense given the character that’s inspired his Weapon and Attire for the FFIX crossover banner.

Sephiroth isn’t the only character to receive a FFIX crossover banner. Aerith has one as well, which will equip her with Garnet’s Rod and Garnet’s Attire. Both are perfect if you’re looking for a healer.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on Android and iOS devices. It will appear on Steam for PCs sometime in the future. The Final Fantasy IX Sephiroth banner will be available until December 7, 2023.
