In Wuthering Waves, the Rover protagonist can be a male or female MC, and people get to choose which one they want to use. However, someone may wonder if there is a benefit to choosing one over the other. Let’s get into it.
Should I pick a male or female Rover as my MC in Wuthering Waves?
This is a purely cosmetic choice. Whether you pick a male or female MC as your Rover in Wuthering Waves will not have an effect on gameplay. They both use the sword type weapon. Each one is a Resonator that can eventually be tied to every type of element. The visual differences are the only one you will notice.
As for which one you should pick, go with whatever one you think you’d be most comfortable using once you start the game. You’re locked into a choice after you make a decision. If you like the appearance of female characters, choose that model. If you prefer to look at a male character as you play, go with that one.
Personally, I think the female MC design in Wuthering Waves is the better one for the Rover. Her costume is more interesting, for one. It’s more eye-catching, and it looks better when running through the world. The male MC character look isn’t bad, but it’s a bit generic in comparison.
