Gazzel is the best warrior in the Pharaoh’s army, but when he decides to retire, the Pharaoh kidnaps his beloved and locks her behind a magic door. To save her, he’ll have to find five jewels guarded by powerful demons in top-down shooter Gazzel Quest.
Inspired by Commando, Gazzel Quest has players steadily walking up a top-down screen, shooting at the enemies that move toward them. To keep those creatures at bay, players will be able to pick up four different weapons, each of which can be powered up three times. Players will also be able to pick up armor and other power-ups to help them stay in the fight.
Each jewel is at the end of one of the game’s five stages, and is guarded by a powerful boss. Fighting these creatures will involve watching out for floor traps and other hazards while dodging bullet hell-like shot arrays.
