Shiny Zeraora Raid Object Met in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Well, that didn’t take long. During the July 17, 2020 Pokemon Presents, a shiny Zeraora Max Raid event was announced for Pokemon Sword and Shield. People had until June 28, 2020 to participate in raids against the mythical Pokemon, and if one million people won they’d get a shiny version of it and Isle of Armor Armorite Ore. Well, on June 23, 2020, the Japanese Twitter account confirmed that 1,435,283 people took part.

This means the two things. First, during the June 29-July 6, 2020 distribution period, people will be able to log into the mobile version of Pokemon Home connected to their Nintendo account and claim a shiny Zeraora and, as of this moment, four pieces of Armorite Ore. All you need is Pokemon Sword or Shield and mobile Pokemon Home access to get it.

However, as the official Pokemon site noted, you do need to do the following before claiming the free shiny Zeraora and items.

You must have deposited a Pokémon in Pokémon HOME or moved a Pokémon to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield from Pokémon HOME between Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. PDT and Monday, July 6, 2020, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is available for the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
