At the request of a lot of their fans, Shin’en have set up a blog dedicated to providing an insight into the development of Jett Rocket. Considering the game is for WiiWare, the behind-the-scenes look is rather interesting for anyone that’s curious to see how much memory different assets in the game take up, and how character creation is optimized to save on space.

For instance, the first (and only, so far) post reveals the technical breakdown for the protagonist’s character model, among other things:

Number of Triangles: 2508
Number of Vertices:1362
Number of Bones: 32
Number of Textures: 10
All Textures size: 290kb / 80kb (compressed)
Mesh Size: 50kb (compressed)
Animation: 244kb (compressed)
