Atlus announced that the digital version and DLC content for Shin Megami Tensei V will be delisted from the Nintendo Switch eShop, ahead of the release of SMT V: Vengeance. The game and its DLC will be unavailable from June 14, 2024.
First, here is the full list of paid DLC content for Shin Megami Tensei V that will be delisted:
- Return of the True Demon
- A Goddess in Training
- The Rage of a Queen
- The Doctor’s Last Wish
- Mitama Dance of Wealth
- Mitama Dance of Miracles
- Mitama Dance of EXP
- DLC Bundle
Additionally, the free Safety Difficulty DLC will also become unavailable. While the announcement only appeared in the Japanese Atlus website, players overseas can also expect the free Japanese Voices add-on to be unavailable after the release of SMT V: Vengeance. While the first four DLC add-ons will be included in the new re-release for free, the Mitama Dances will still be paid DLC in SMT V: Vengeance.
As a reminder, Atlus recently revealed three brand new SMT V: Vengeance demons based on deities and cultural figures from various African mythologies and folklore. The company also shared a new Complete Guide showcase going over 50 new features include in the game, as well as the new Shinjuku Ward of Da’at and the Shakan Dungeon.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 14, 2024. The original SMT V released in November 11, 2021 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
