Nippon Ichi Software released a demo for Shikabanegurai no Boukenmeshi. The demo is immediately available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. However, it is only available in Japan. That said, players interested in the demo can still download it if they have access to a Japanese PlayStation Network account or a Japanese Nintendo account. [Thanks, Gamer!]
The demo gives players access to the beginning area of the game. Additionally, players can create their own characters and experience the full variety of customization available. This includes setting certain traits for characters, which will determine what kind of food they enjoy eating. This will be important, as a key feature in the game is cooking. A total of four difficulties are available to select in the demo: “Easy,” “Normal,” “Hard,” and “Nightmare.” Players can change the difficulty of the game at any time during the demo.
Like other Nippon Ichi Software games, such as Disgaea, players can customize their characters. This includes their appearances, and as mentioned previously, the kind of food they enjoy. Players will also be able to pick an “occupation” for their characters. Fianlly, save data from the demo can be carried over into the full game once it releases.
Shikabanegurai no Boukenmeshi will release for Nintendo Switch and PS4 in Japan on January 27, 2022. Its demo is immediately available.
