Shantae 5 Will Have An Opening Animation By Studio Trigger

While we still don’t know much about Shantae 5, which was announced back in March, we now do know one more thing – that the opening animation will be done by Studio Trigger.

Alongside the announcement, Wayforward also posted some production concept artwork for Shantae and Risky Boots’ designs for use in the opening animation, as drawn by Studio Trigger.

Previously, it was confirmed by Wayforward that there will not be a Kickstarter for Shantae 5. Additionally, from the artstyle used in the reveal teaser, the game is likely going to reuse the engine and graphical style from Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.

Shantae 5 releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Apple Arcade in 2019.
