Senran Kagura 2 Shows More Pair Battle Action And Costume Posing

Recommended Videos

Marvelous recently shared the latest of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson with a look at its new and improved costume customization and AR features. Famitsu also shares some of their Senran Kagura love with a look at some action in the upcoming 3DS game.

The video starts out with Asuka going solo and taking on a bunch of enemies on a rooftop stage. Using X and Y buttons for combinations of strong and weak attacks, she puts them together to perform different combos.

She also shows off her transformation to go with some powerful attacks that use up the meter bar against other ninja girls.

At 1:50, the footage shows us a look at some of the game’s pair battle system, where you can see for yourself that having two characters is always better for taking on a bunch of enemies and boss characters. The 3:33 mark shows us one of the special co-op moves.

Finally, at 4:02 we get another look at some of the costume and poses, courtesy of Asuka. She also demonstrates a look at some different weapons at the very end.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson is slated for release on August 7, 2014 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
