The Sengoku Basara series turns 15 this year and Capcom announced Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Edition for the occasion.

Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi released in Japan for the PS4 and PS3 in July 2015 as a Sengoku Basara 4 expansion. The Anniversary Edition will feature the expanded game plus 66 pieces of DLC to go with it. Most importantly, the physical version includes an exclusive art book.

 The game will go for 5,990 yen plus tax. Here’s what comes with the physical version:

  • Weapon item product code (10 DLC pieces)
  • Special art box
  • Special booklet “Sengoku Heroes 15th Anniversary Records” (80-page booklet, size: 170mm x 135mm)

The 80-page special booklet is definitely the main draw here. In addition to exclusive interviews, the full-colored book is packed with art from the series’ 15 years history. It includes a look at all the previous box art, visuals, and plenty more.

In addition to special costumes, the 66 DLC also includes several series music tracks. This includes sets of music from previous games (sets of 10) as well as extra songs by T.M. Revolution, Abingdon Boys School, and Chiaki Ishikawa.

Lastly, a digital version will be available as the Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Set for 5,445 yen plus tax. This includes Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi plus all 66 DLC. In other words, it’s the Anniversary Edition minus the artbook. A special DLC-only bundle with just the 66 DLC minus the game will also be available for 3,627 yen plus tax.

Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Edition will release in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on July 21, 2020.
