“Godzilla The Ride” is a major ride attraction that will put visitors in the middle of thrilling battles between Kaiju monsters, such as Godzilla and King Ghidorah. This will be the first time an official permanent Godzilla attraction is placed in an amusement park.

The amusement park will also have a new zone called “Let’s Go! Leo Land” that features characters from Osamu Tezuka’s works. The zone will include a jet coaster inspired by Astro Boy‘s Moon Trip and a spinning ride attraction based on Jungle Emperor Leo.

Established in 1950, the Seibuen Amusement Park is located near Tokyo in the Saitama prefecture. It also used to host an attraction zone based on Hello Kitty from July 2004 to March 2020. The entire park closed temporarily in November 2020 as it underwent a renewal that will be done by May 2021.

Godzilla has been receiving a lot of attention in recent months. A new anime show Godzilla: Singular Point will appear worldwide on Netflix in 2021. The franchise also has a board game and multiple mobile games in the works.
