Sega’s Demon RPG Isn’t Shin Megami Tensei, But It’ll Be Out In English This Winter

Last year, Sega announced an RPG for iOS platforms, titled Demon Tribe, where you transform into and fight against demons. The game’s executive producer is Masayoshi Kikuchi, who worked on Jet Set Radio and Panzer Dragoon, and it will be available in English this winter.

Demon Tribe is a mash-up of the card-collecting game and a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genres with action RPG elements. In the game, you’ll need to collect and fuse demons—yes, this sounds like Shin Megami Tensei, which is rather ironic now—to do battle in both cooperative and competitive encounters that can support up to 6 players in 3-on-3 battles.
