New DLC, based on classic Sega and Taito shmups, is coming for Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviours. The Taito stages, based on RayForce, Night Striker, and Metal Black are all available now, with the Sega stages based around Space Harrier, Galaxy Force II, and Fantasy Zone going up for sale on April 7, 2016.
Each DLC pack comes with a special ship from the game it’s inspired by, several new stages, and remixed music from the original version. The ships from the DLC packs can’t be brought into the main game, but ships from the main game can be played in the DLC pack levels.
Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviours is an extensive shmup where players battle robotic sea life, having hundreds of stages in its story mode, over 3000 unlockable stages in AC Chronicle mode, and nine playable ships.
