In Sega Ages Puyo Puyo Tsu players can challenge Arcade Mode with online rankings. It has a rewind feature used to turn back a Puyo but it comes with the option to turn off or on for the player’s preference.

Tournament Mode lets you take on rivals each stage to climb a tower. As for multiplayer, there’s a two-player Versus Mode that you can play on one Switch. It also comes with network-supported online battles, where you can host games for friends or play against random players.

The game also features modes such as character introductions with info on all characters. You can change Puyo colors and more in the settings menu, with different types of color options. One cool setting is the Screen Mode that lets you switch between vintage and cabinet modes. One gives it a more old school look while the other gives it more of an arcade feel.
