Peko and Poko are mascots of the Japanese confectionery company Fujiya, which created them in the 1950s. The characters prominently appear in some of Fujiya’s products, such as Milky and Peko Poko Chocolate. Peko’s iconic face where she sticks out her tongue has been referenced in several anime titles. Good Smile Company also released Peko’s Nendoroid in 2016.

The Final Fantasy VII Ever CrisisPeko & Poko crossover merchandise will feature Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, Zack Fair, Aerith Gainsborough, Tifa Lockhart, and the First Soldiers Glenn, Lucia, and Matt. A majority of the characters in this collection will stick their tongues out like Peko. Square Enix will also release merchandise featuring Peko in Aerith’s attire and Poko in Cloud’s costume.
