All that teasing wasn’t for nothing! Ubisoft has brought back a River City Ransom-inspired beat’em up based on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World for the series’ tenth anniversary. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition is on the way. It will appear during the 2020 holiday season on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.

There’s even a trailer to offer a look at how the game looks now. Also, since this is a “complete” version, people will have the Wallace Wells and Knives Chau DLC already built in.

We had some idea this was on the way. Back in August 2020, Bryan Lee O’Malley, the creator of the comic, said Ubisoft had gotten in touch.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was originally available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, before being delisted in December 2014. The Complete Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia during the 2020 holiday season.
