Mages are still working on Robotics;Notes, their third science adventure visual novel following Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate. Today, they announced that Robotics;Notes will be released on June 28th in Japan, a delay from the originally intended Spring release.

Robotics;Notes will come in standard and limited editions and is a multiplatform release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We know very little about the game, but we did ask Mages president, Chiyomaru Shikura, about it last year.

“We’re aiming to make it close to anime [in the way the story unfolds, or in the way it plays out],” Shikura said to us at the time. “It’s a game where, if you split it into anime episodes, it could fill up about 40 episodes. It would be a great success if we could attract people who have never played visual novels before as well.”
