Sci-Fi Action Lives Alongside An Eerie, Dark Tone In Ghost Song

Recommended Videos

Ghost Song is a sci-fi action game that should be on your radar if it isn’t already. It’s inspired by Metroid and Dark Souls, as you’ll probably be able to pick up as you watch the footage above.

You crash land on the mysterious and treacherous moon, Loran V. From there, you have no choice but to explore the moon’s surface and underground caverns. You’ll find weird, sometimes gross aliens, new abilities and mechanized powers, as well as lonely characters.

It’s a game that combines a dark atmosphere with 2D platforming and action. But at its heart is an emotional quest about finding closure for the main character and the ones that they love.

Ghost Song was successfully funded on Kickstarter last year, and will hopefully be finished in 2015. You can pre-order it for $15 to get a copy on Windows, Mac, and Linux. More information is on its website.
