Samurai Shodown Will Add Gongsun Li From Honor of Kings as a Free DLC Character on August 5, 2020

SNK announced that Samurai Shodown will add Gongsun Li from the Tencent mobile game Honor of Kings as a free DLC character.

To reasons unknown to anyone but herself, a dancer from a faraway land makes her voyage to Japan.

It is said her performance has the power to entrance and uplift the masses.

But few suspect her actual motives, which are to gather evidence against those who’s misdeeds towards the public have been kept a secret.

To the dancer, allowing ones to steal away others’ happiness is a grave sin, and she will stop at nothing for the betterment of the people.

Prior to her reveal, Gongsun Li was teased as a free DLC character for Samurai Shodown. Earlier this month the Honor of Kings crossover was revealed with a silhouette teaser. The last additional DLC character wasn’t that long ago with the Warden from Ubisoft’s For Honor. In addition to Gongsun Li, the Season Pass 2 features Mina Majikina,  Sogetsu Kazama, Iroha, and Warden. The Season Pass 1 added Shizumaru Hisame, Rimururu, Basara, Kazuki Kazama, and Wan-Fu.

Samurai Shodown is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Epic Games Store.  Honor of Kings is available for iOS and Android.
