Samurai Shodown For Nintendo Switch Gets Delayed From Q4 2019 To Q1 2020

Samurai Shodown was initially expected to release for the Nintendo Switch in Q4 2019 but it appears the the Switch version of the fighter has been delayed a bit to Q1 2020 in North America and Europe.

There hasn’t been any word on whether the Japanese version will be delayed, so we can expect it to stick to its December 12, 2019 release date. For the Western version, the trailer shows that it’ll also come with the same Samurai Shodown! 2 digital port bonus.

The PC version of the game also had a Q4 2019 release window but Athlon Games hasn’t announced any delays for it.

Samurai Shodown is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’ll release for Stadia on November 19, 2019. The PC version is expected to release in Q4 2019, then Switch in Q1 2020.
