Sales of Zack & Wiki steady, We Love Golf sluggish

There is a misconception that Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure underperformed last year, but sales weren’t bad at all. Capcom says the franchise “grew steadily” in a 3rd quarter financial report statement, with 300,000 copies sold worldwide. The number may not be as big as the 950,000 copies of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles sold worldwide, but Zack & Wiki isn’t doing badly at all.

On the other hand We Love Golf, a title born from a partnership with Mario Golf developer Camelot, and Mega Man Star Force 2 sales were considered “sluggish.” To be fair these titles were only released in Japan. Results could vary when they get an international release, but cheer up Zack & Wiki fans all your grassroots marketing efforts weren’t in vain.
