November 12, 2020 isn’t just the PlayStation 5 launch day in some regions. It is also the same day a number of current and next-gen games debut. Which means it a launch trailer day of sorts. The latest one is for Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the LittleBigPlanet spin-off that sends Sackboy off on a platforming adventure around Craft World.
This video serves two purposes. The first is to introduce the game’s primary antagonist and explain why exactly Sackboy is going through all of these new levels and areas. The second half actually shows the character on the adventure, giving people an idea of what sort of activities they can expect as they play.
Here’s the Sackboy: A Big Adventure launch trailer.
If you pick it up, remember that a few of its features won’t be ready right away. You can’t transfer PS4 saves to a PS5 version of the game just yet, for one. Also, only local cooperative multiplayer is available at launch. But eventually, an online option that includes cross-platform play will appear via a patch.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 now in Australia, Japan, North America and South Korea. It will appear alongside the PS5 launch in other regions on November 19, 2020.
