Ryuji and Captain Kidd Turn the Tide of Battle in Persona 5 Tactica

The new character spotlight trailer for Persona 5 Tactica released by Atlus focuses on Ryuji Sakamoto, the Phantom Thief Skull. Ryuji is a courageous, but reckless young man with a strong sense of justice who likes to face against his opponents heads-on and fights for his friends. The video highlights his personality and shows off gameplay.

Ryuji is a powerful physical attacker that wields blunt weapons like pipes and uses a shotgun as his ranged weapon during battle. In the recent trailer shared by Atlus, Skull and Captain Kidd are able to use a new move called Brigantine Dash, a powerful area of effect attack that can hit several enemies in front of him and can turn the tide of battle.

In the original Persona 5 game, Ryuji is one of the four founding members of the Phantom Thieves and is with Joker when they discover the first Palace. He joins the party after awakening his Persona, Captain Kidd, shortly after meeting Morgana.

Atlus recently shared other details about cast members. New information about Skull, Ann “Panther” Tamaki, and alongside Toshiro Kasukabe showed up. Toshiro is a new original character that will appear in Persona 5 Tactica.

Persona 5 Tactica will come out on November 17, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC via Steam.
