Xseed teased a new game release yesterday, using a picture of a T-Rex and a blade of grass. As many suspected, this game is indeed the dungeon crawler UnchainBlades ReXX. A preview page from Nintendo Power magazine reveals its U.S. title as simply Unchained Blades.
What’s more interesting is that Nintendo Power say Unchained Blades will be a download game. This would make it one of the first digital download releases of a retail game on the Nintendo 3DS, which is an option Nintendo recently announced they would make available to publishers.
Perhaps we’ll hear more about about this feature at this year’s E3 conference. In the meantime, we’ve asked Xseed for confirmation regarding whether Unchained Blades will be a retail or download game. We’ll provide an update once we hear back from them.
