The Rodea the Sky Soldier 3DS and Wii U copies are being forced out of the sky. NIS America announced that the digital copies of both versions of the game are about to disappear from the eShop. Sales will end in North America and Europe on September 30, 2020. (The status of the Japanese digital releases is unknown, as Kadokawa hasn’t issued an update.)

On the plus side, the Rodea the Sky Soldier 3DS and Wii U (with Wii) physical copies are on sale if you buy direct from NIS America’s North American storefront, the handheld version is temporarily $4.99 and the Wii U/Wii one is $14.99. The games aren’t on sale in the Europe Online Store, though. There, a 3DS copy is £18.99 and a Wii U/Wii one is £13.99.

This Rodea the Sky Soldier sale doesn’t seem to apply to the digital copies, however. If you visit the U.S. product pages for either version, the 3DS copy and Wii U version are still being sold for $19.99 each.

Rodea the Sky Soldier is available worldwide on the Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and Wii U. The digital copies will be removed from the North American and European eShops on September 30, 2020.
