Ring Fit Adventure Switch consoles bundles will be available to purchase in Japan on November 20, 2020. This bundle will come with the Ring Fit Adventure software pre-installed on the Nintendo Switch console and both the Ringcon and leg band. This set will cost ¥37,960 or approximately $362. Pre-orders for the bundles will open on November 14, 2020.
Ring Fit Adventure is the latest in physical fitness software from Nintendo. In the vein of Wii Fitness, users have a handful of ways to exercise using their Nintendo console. Modes for Ring Fit Adventure include an Adventure mode that functions, at least narratively, to a JRPG. Players need to do stretches, squats, and other exercises to stop an evil force from consuming the world.
If you’re looking for something less dramatic, Ring Fit Adventure has a standard workout function where users can schedule over sixty kinds of exercises to choose from. A rhythm game function is also available. Users can work out to seventeen different songs from games like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 2.
Ring Fit Adventure became something of a smash hit. Released in October 2019, as of June 17, 2020, Ring Fit Adventure has sold over 1 million units in Japan. This is the second new I.P. by Nintendo to cross the 1 million mark in Japan, with the first being Splatoon.
Ring Fit Adventure is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch.
