Re:Zero Is Getting A VR Smartphone App That Lets You Rest On Rem’s Lap

Japanese anime VR-maker Gugenka announced Re:Zero –Life is a Different World by VR-, an upcoming VR app on smarpthone that will let you spend quality time and rest on Rem’s lap.

The VR app will come in two volumes of “Resting Head on Lap” and “Bed-Sharing” volumes and will be available for 960 yen each. The premise of the app is what if instead of Subaru, you, yourself, went to the alternate world. That is the kind of dream that Gugenka hopes to realize.

In addition to various conversations, there are 24 voiced scenes that includes birthdays, events, including one that will have Rem (CV: Inori Minase) kindly let you rest on her lap. She’ll even learn to say your name.

There’s also a VR figure “Appreciation” mode that lets you check out Rem in three different scenes in a 360-degree free space.

Re:Zero –Life is a Different World by VR- is in development for iPhone and Android in Japan.
