Resonance of Fate Cutscenes Reflect Costume Changes

A tri-Ace staffer previously explained all of Resonance of Fate’s cutscenes are rendered in real-time because characters can wear different outfits. Costume changes are shown throughout the game, even during story sequences. So, if you dress Reanbell in a silly cheetah print dress with cat ears and a tear jerking cutscene comes up… well you get the idea.

Guests artists Tokyo Alice, feebee, Nendo Graphixxx, and Yutoonz contributed to the costume pool.

The battle system with all of the air dodges and bullets flying stands out from every other RPG on the market. That’s probably a good thing for Resonance of Fate since it will go up against traditional RPGs like Ar Tonelico III and Dragon Quest VI when it launches in Japan on January 28, 2010.
