Resident Evil Village Survey Asks About People’s Next-Gen Intentions

Capcom shared a Resident Evil Village survey via the game’s official Twitter account, asking for people’s thoughts on Resident Evil 8. As you might expect, it’s a standard sort of affair designed to gauge people’s interests. However, some interesting questions get into the next-gen possibilities. To be more specific, it asks for potential players’ thoughts on which systems they’ll buy.

Here’s the tweet asking for people’s thoughts. If that screenshot looks familiar, it’s because it is from the batch Capcom shared after the game was announced.

Things in the Resident Evil Village survey start out normally enough. It asks if people are interested in this game, if people purchased past Resident Evil entries, has you rank ones you liked, and wants to know details about who you are, where you live, and which platforms you own and use.

It then asks if you know about Resident Evil Village, how you heard about it, and more detailed information. For example, it determines how accurate and good the title is, asking if people can tell it is Resident Evil 8. It also asks about your next-gen intentions. Resident Evil Village is in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC and will launch in 2021. More news about it will arrive in August 2020.
