Currently, Resident Evil Village is eighth on Capcom’s list of platinum titles. These are games that have sold over a million units. It’s still behind Resident Evil 6 (8.6 million), Resident Evil 5 (8.7 million), Resident Evil 2 (11.9 million), and Resident Evil 7 biohazard (12 million). All of these games came out later than Village though, with 5 the oldest at 2009. This means that Resident Evil Village still has a chance of rising through the sales rankings.
Resident Evil Village is the chronological sequel to Resident Evil 7 biohazard. Players once again take control of Ethan Winters in a journey to save Rose, his infant daughter. He journeys through a snow European village full of bizarre monsters, as well as a number of mutated lords such as the very tall Lady Dimitrescu. There is also a continuation, Shadows of Rose, in which you can play as an older version of Rose.

Resident Evil Village is available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
