Apple revealed that Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, and Death Stranding will be playable on new generation iPhone devices. This announcement comes alongside the reveal of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones. The games will be compatible with the new generation of iPhone devices only and are set to come out for these in 2023.
The new iPhone devices will release to the market on September 22, 2023 and will be available for pre-order from September 15, 2023. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with the A17 Pro chip, which will allow the new iPhone models to run such recent games as Resident Evil 4 Remake or Death Stranding. Furthermore, Apple confirmed that the new smartphones will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Additionally, Apple also revealed that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage will also be compatible with the new iPhone models. The game is set to come out for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in the first half of 2024.
Resident Evil Village is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Resident Evil 4 Remake is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Death Stranding is available for the PS4, PS5, and Windows PC. All three games are coming to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max later in 2023.
