By Puzzle & Dragons, GungHo Online Entertainment’s money printing smartphone game, has had its fair share of collaborations. Square Enix gave them moogle wizards for a crossover with the Final Fantasy Tactics spinoff Crystal Defenders and Famitsu’s mascot even showed up in the game as an ally. Next up is Evangelion!

Shinji and Asuka from Rebuild of Evangelion will show up in Puzzle & Dragons. The crossover with Evangelion 333 You Can (Not) Redo also adds a brand new Advent dungeon with new monsters like Zeus Dios and the ultimate form of the Valkyrie.
The collaboration starts on May 27 for Japan. Puzzle & Dragons is also available for the West on iOS and Android, but we haven’t seen any crossovers in the English localized version yet.
