Sega will re-release two Asuka figures from the Rebuild of Evangelion series as crane game prizes at select arcade and entertainment centers throughout Japan. The figures feature Asuka standing on the shore, and Asuka holding the Spear of Cassius. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby!]
The figure of Asuka on the shore is inspired by her appearance during a specific scene from Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. It will be available as a prize on various arcade crane games from the third week of January 2024. You can check it out here:
Meanwhile, the figure of Asuka holding the Spear of Cassius will appear as a crane game prize from the fourth week of January 2024. While Asuka never appears holding the spear herself in the anime movies, as it is a giant artifact used by the Eva units, the figure is inspired by Asuka’s appearance in the second and third Rebuild of Evangelion movies. The Rebuild of Evangelion Asuka shore and Spear of Cassius figures will be available as crane game prizes in Japan from the third and fourth week of January 2024 respectively.
