After you’ve completed Trauma Team’s story, a secret seventh chapter opens up, extending the story by another dozen or so stages. But there’s even more post-game content, as Atlus revealed today, in the form of Doctor Medals and the “Specialist” difficulty setting.

“Specialist” is the third difficulty, following Intern and Resident. This also allows you to achieve the XS rank, which is unattainable on easier difficulties. Atlus compare it to the X Missions from the Trauma Center games.

Completing the game also unlocks Doctor Medals, of which there are eight for each doctor in the game. Every medal is scored by completing specific tasks during the course of the game. Earning medals unlocks further rewards, but Atlus haven’t mentioned what these are.

If you missed it, gloss over our playtest of Trauma Team for all of the details about surgery, new and old.
