Ragnarok Origin Will Release for Smartphones in Korea in July 2020

Gravity announced that its upcoming smartphone MMORPG Ragnarok Origin will officially begin service in South Korea in July 2020. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]

Additionally, Gravity revealed that the second closed beta test for Ragnarok Origin will take place from June 17-19. The purpose of the second closed beta test is to do a final check before launching next month. The developers are working closely with focus groups and listening to all kinds of player feedback. Some of these adjustments based on player feedback include improvements to the in-game font that was made easier to read, party composition made easier, and so on.

While Ragnarok Origin will have PvE and PvP content made for each day of the week, the closed beta test will have all of them going on at once so that testers can get a good idea of what the game will have to offer during the three-day CBT.

The game features 3D models made to bring out the feeling and style of the 2D artwork from the original MMORPG. The video also gives us a look at the character creation system and more.
