Rage Quitters Become ‘Villains’ in My Hero One’s Justice 2

The Japanese My Hero One’s Justice 2 Twitter account has confirmed a safeguard is in place to prevent people from carelessly quitting online matches that aren’t going their way. People the game sees disconnecting often intentionally are considered “villains” and will be temporarily forced to only fight other people engaging in the same activities for a while. [Thanks, Jiyuna!]

The official tweet shows the Japanese version of the alert. People who frequently and intentionally disconnect will be punished for their actions by only being paired up with people who are also rage quitting. So the villains will be temporarily pitted against villains, though it isn’t noted how long the punishment will be in effect.

I attempted to acquire the English version of this warning, as My Hero One’s Justice 2 is immediately available in all regions. However, after 10 intentional disconnects in Ranked, I was unable to convince Bandai Namco I was a villain deserving of punishment. (My apologies to anyone who ended up facing a Pinky this morning who ghosted them as they were about to win.)

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide.
