Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for new The Quintessential Quintuplets movie Pop Up Parade figures. The new figures are based on the original Pop Up Parade Quintessential Quintuplets sculpts, but with some newly designed parts. Each figure will cost $35.99. You can also get a box set that includes all five figures for $177.99. Pre-orders will close on June 19, 2022, and will ship sometime in February 2023.
The Quintessential Quintuplets movie will follow the events of the anime adaptation’s previous two seasons. Protagonist Futaro Uesugi will go on a graduation trip to Okinawa with the five Nakano sisters. It will also serve as the anime series’ finale. The movie will debut in Japanese theaters on May 20, 2022.

There are some key differences between the original Pop Up Parade Quintessential Quintuplets figures and these new releases. The most notable difference seems to be in each character’s hair. In addition to an update in design to fit their current appearances, the material seems to be more translucent. Nino, for example, now has short hair. Ichika‘s hair is also visibly pinker compared to the original figure, which leaned more towards purple. Each character also has different facial expressions.
Furthermore, the special box set will include all five figures of the Nakano sisters. As the name suggests, it will come in a special box with the Quintessential Quintuplets movie logo. Each character is also available for individual purchase. The updated versions of the figures are denoted with a “1.5”.
