A new Puyo Puyo game seemingly called Puyo Puyo e Sports has been rated in Korea for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, as well as a Psikyo Collection Vol. 2 for Nintendo Switch. [Thanks, Gematsu!]
One thing of note is that this matches up with the fact that Puyo Puyo is one of the first game series recognized by the Japan eSports Union, which we reported on back in March. The first recognized Puyo Puyo Cup took place in April this year at Sega Fest 2018.
While Psikyo Collection Vol. 2 hasn’t been officially announced for Nintendo Switch, the fact that the first game was titled Vol. 1 indicated that there would be a follow-up of some sort.
Puyo Puyo e Sports is seemingly headed to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Psikyo Collection Vol. 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch.
