Rimlight Studios is bringing robot punching to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2015 with its 3D sci-fi brawler ZHEROS.
In the game, ZHEROS is the name of the galaxy-saving squad that, in this case, is sent to stop the diabolical Dr. Vendetta before he can turn every living creature into one of his minions.
You’ll be following Mike and Captain Dorian of the squad either alone or cooperatively with another player to beat up crazed robots and biomechanical creatures by stringing together combos with your fists, feet, and a range of powerful guns.
As you do so, you’ll be travelling across futuristic cities, dangerous wilderness areas, and twisted high-tech laboratories. You get to upgrade your characters and develop new weapons along the way.
All in all, ZHEROS seems to be a bright and shiny action brawler which, while the combat is on the slow side, should hopefully make for a pleasant enough punch-up. Check out its website for more information.
