Developed by Gathering Holdings and Good Luck 3, the free-to-play puzzle game has been described as ‘hyper-casual,’ and asks players to help popular Molcar characters evacuate parking spots to make room for more and more fuzzy friends. Coins earned from various challenges in each level are used in the ‘Molcar Gacha,’ where new characters can be unlocked at random.

The stop-motion series Pui Pui Molcar debuted in January 2021, and follows a group of guinea pig/car hybrids. Despite each episode only having a two-minute runtime, the series has found worldwide acclaim for its simple storyline and cute characters. Eikoh released a series of plush toys from the series in February, while Good Smile Company announced both a Nendoroid and three model kits last month. A compilation film was released in Japanese theaters on July 22, while a Molcar Tamagotchi is set to release this October.

Currently, there’s no mention of a global release date for the Pui Pui Molcar Mogu Mogu Parking mobile game. It is only available on Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan. The Pui Pui Molcar stop-motion series is available to watch on Netflix worldwide.
