Sega kicked off the Super Phantasy Festival event in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis to celebrate the PSO2 12th anniversary. The first part of the event is now live as of July 3, 2024, and the second part starts on July 17, 2024. Everything runs until July 30, 2024.
Some events are available for only part of the anniversary event, while others are available until the end on July 30, 2024. The first part of the event includes two limited quests. We can immediately take on the Quest “The Twin-Horned Raven from Beyond” and Urgent Quest “Halphia Lake Interception Part II” until July 17, 2024. Then between July 17-30, 2024, the Quest “Practice Drill: Unidentified Region A64” is there. Both quests have exclusive character cosmetic and furnishing rewards.
As for the longer running events, there are five that will be available during the entire anniversary celebration. Here’s the list of what you can do until July 30, 2024:
- Get 100 Million EXP: The rapid-fire training campaign is back.
- Super Casino Campaign: 20 Casino Coin Passes given out each week, and get more Star Gems in exchange for Casino Coins each week.
- Super Free SG Scratch: Draw 10 free tickets per day, for up to 150 pulls on the gacha.
- Super Phantasy Festival Gifts: This is a weekly login event to get free items like a C.A.R.D. or a Super Phantasy Festival Tote Bag.
- Super Use the Salon to Your Heart’s Content: Free Salon usage that doesn’t involve Salon Free Pass or Salon Pass S.
There will also be a Super Treasure Scratch between July 10-30, 2024, and the Super Item Enhancement Support Boost event that guarantees Great Success results runs July 17-30, 2024.
The Super Phantasy Festival PSO2 New Genesis 12th anniversary event isn’t the only one going on right now. A Code Geass scratch ticket event appeared starting in June 2024. The Eminence in Shadow and Shangri-La Frontier crossovers are also coming.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available as a free-to-play online game worldwide on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with an additional Nintendo Switch cloud version appearing in Japan.
