Canadian indie studio Doragon Entertainment is has put its bullet-hell shmup Danmaku Unlimited 3 up on Steam Greenlight. It also has as a new website.
It looks like it will make its debut on Steam for PC and then head over to smartphones at a later date, just as Danmaku Unlimited 2 did.
As with previous entries in the series, Danmaku Unlimited 3 is an homage to classic Japanese bullet-hell shooters. It’s also a game that rewards you for playing dangerously with its bullet graze system.
Danmaku Unlimited 3 will have five stages to beat with a range of difficulty levels to test yourself with. It’ll also have a customizable ship that encourages experimentation with different combinations.
More general features include it running at 60FPS, music by Tokyo indie group Blankfield (composers for Danmaku Unlimited 2), TATE mode (portrait alignment), dynamic sprite rendering system inspired by LUFTRAUSERS, controller support, and leaderboards.
