Genshin Impact players on social media have been warning against co-oping with strangers due to a malicious and potentially game-breaking exploit. Some users have discovered that you can use third-party software (likely Akebi) to delete interactible objects and assets in the game. Videos surfacing of people exploiting this bug usually feature Kaveh and his Elemental Skill. It’s unclear if the issue only affects Kaveh in co-op, or if it’s because the motion and range of Kaveh’s E makes it easy for him to delete things. HoYoVerse has not yet made a statement about the bug, nor has it announced any plans to patch it out. So far, it’s been mostly players who have encountered the bug or found videos of the bug in action who have been discussing it online. There’s also the chance that this exploit is only affecting private Genshin Impact servers.
Items that Kaveh players online deleted in Genshin Impact co-op mode include the tree you have to interact with in a Domain to claim your prizes. He has also deleted one of the elemental puzzles you have to interact with in the open world. A video online has even shown him deleting the boss fight version of Childe.
