In Prison Princess, a Demon King took over the land of Meigard, capturing the princesses of two separate kingdoms. While a hero stood up to fight back and rescue Princess Arisa and Princess Zena, he was unfortunately killed. However, his ghost remains, which is who players will control.

But now that he is a ghost, the hero still has a chance to help save the day. Both princesses could be considered warriors in their own right, as Arisa is a mage and Zena is good with a sword. His spirit can aid them and touch them, so they can get through the Demon King’s castle and solve the puzzles within. By interacting with the two, you might help them overcome challenges and earn different endings.

The official Prison Princess website confirmed the game will be available with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Qureate also revealed on Twitter that the game will be sold in North America.

Prison Princess will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2020.
