Clash of the Titans will arrive in North America after the phrase “release the kraken” is forgotten. We won’t get the game until July 27.
While Clash of the Titans follows the film, Folklore developer Game Republic is adding additional monsters to fight and weapons to collect. Pre-order Clash of the Titans from Gamestop and you’ll get access to two quest packs.
Perseus goes up against the Cockatrice at the Mount of Idols in “Bird in the Hand.” Slay the beast and you’ll be rewarded with the tornado tossing Wings of Icarus sub weapon. In “Songs of Enchantment”, Perseus faces a Succubus and an army of Sirens. Win and the Orpheus, a thunder summoning weapon, is yours. Both quest packs are downloadable, but Namco Bandai didn’t say how people can access them if they don’t pre-order or avoid Gamestop like a plague.
