We mostly know of Pokkén Tournament as the Wii U game that released in March 2016 and the Switch port Pokkén Tournament DX that released in September 2017. Its original release was Japan-only for arcades back in July 2015, but after three and a half years it’s been announced on its official website that it will terminate online services next week.

The service will end on March 25 at 2:00am JST. Bandai Namco Amusement expressed their sincere gratitude to all the fans who kept it going from its launch back in 2015.

Once the online service ends, it’ll no longer support its National Versus mode and First-Time Tutorial Service. The Banapassport card will also no longer be usable on the machines. The Pokkén Tournament portal website will also shut down on March 25, 2019 at 2:00am JST.

Pokkén Tournament DX is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
