The Pokémon Company will kick off a live orchestral concert series, titled Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, starting on August 15th, 2014. The concert will premiere at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC.

The second concert in the series will take place on September 19th at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts. More dates and venues will be announced in the future, The Pokémon Company said.

Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will reunite key creative personnel that helped put together Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda concert series, which was held to commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The concert will feature music from the mainline Pokémon RPGs, all the way up to X and Y.
