The company noted that Pokemon Mezastar reached the milestone faster than the Pokemon Ga-Ole arcade game, which took roughly 800 days. Additionally, it noted Pokemon Mezastar‘s popularity among children, and how this greatly contributed to the number of plays the game has.

Pokemon Mezastar is a cabinet arcade game that allows for players to cooperate in Pokemon battles. Previously, legendary Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield were made available to obtain in game. After defeating a Pokemon, players have a chance to capture it. Capturing a Pokemon will reward players with a tag. Additionally, these tags allow for players to use these Pokemon as supports for their team.

However, with the recent release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players can now potentially capture the legendary Dialga and Palkia. It is unclear if these Pokemon will only be available for a limited time.

Pokemon Mezastar can be played through arcade machines at select locations in Japan.
