Now that it’s a new month, we have a new Pokemon GO Community Day coming, and this month we have Charmander, as voted by fans, for featured Pokemon arriving on October 17, 2020.
The Charmander Community Day starts in Pokemon GO on October 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. and it will end at 5:00 p.m. (local time). During this period, Charmander will appear more frequently in the wild, including a chance to get Shiny ones. Furthermore, by evolving Charmander’s evolution Charmeleon into Charizard during the event, players will get a Charizard that knows Dragon Breath. Players will have until two hours after the event to evolve the Charmeleon for the special Charizard.
There will be a surprise for those who take snapshots during Community Day. An October Community Day Box will also be available to purchase for 1,280 PokeCoins. The set includes an Elite Charged TM, three Star Pieces, and 30 Ultra Balls.
Players can also earn Charizard Mega Energy by completing event-exclusive Time Research and Field Research tasks. Furthermore, a Special Research story exclusive to the October Community Day will be available for $1 USD. The exclusive story rewards also include Charizard Mega Energy.
Pokemon GO is available for Apple iOS and Android devices. Pokemon GO compatibility is coming to Pokemon Home in 2020.
